Tile shows one repeat unit. Surface tiles it across the whole canvas using the active Lattice (Select tab) — coverage is always computed from the canvas size, so there are never blank areas regardless of zoom or export size. Snaps above are temporary, in-session copies — save a few, then pick one as the pattern source in the Mockups workspace.

Mockup templates
Pick a saved template to open it for editing, or start from a built-in scene — same Design/Snaps/Pattern-fit controls once you're inside. Happy with a template as-is? Send to Publish renders all 6 platform sizes right from here, no need to enter.
Writes the Pattern fit sliders into the open .mock template, so next time you open it, it starts from this fit instead of a generic default. Built-in scenes have nothing to save into.
Publish
Every design's tile (Export tab) and every mockup made from it (Mockups tab) — however the pattern was generated — lands here as one folder, named for the pattern. One template = one file: sending 2 templates to Publish gives 2 files in the same folder, not a pile of platform-specific crops. Click any thumbnail to view it full size before downloading or sharing.
